UAE Is Using AI to Predict the Skills People Will Need for Future Jobs

That is the idea behind the UAE’s Emirates Skills platform.

At the UAE Cabinet meeting on 2 September 2026, the government reviewed progress on the national platform, which is designed to anticipate the skills required for future jobs and help prepare people for changes in the labour market.

According to the Dubai Media Office, the platform uses artificial intelligence, real-time labour-market analysis and predictive modelling to identify emerging skills and provide personalised career guidance. More than 8,300 users participated during its pilot phase.

Why Is the UAE Building a Skills Prediction Platform?

The Cabinet also confirmed implementation of an AI curriculum across public and private schools.
