RAKEZ Marks World Heart Day With Free Heart Assessments

RAKEZ is hosting a World Heart Day awareness session in Ras Al Khaimah with a cardiologist-led talk and complimentary heart assessments on 30 September 2026.

Taking care of your health is easy to postpone.

Work gets busy. Errands build up. Family responsibilities take priority. Then something as important as checking in on your own wellbeing gets pushed to another week. This September, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) is encouraging people to make heart health a priority.

To mark World Heart Day, RAKEZ is collaborating with Emirates Health Service to host a heart-health awareness session and offer complimentary assessments at the RAKEZ Medical Fitness Centre in Ras Al Khaimah. The initiative will take place on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

What Will Happen During the Session?

The programme combines education with basic health assessment. A cardiologist will deliver a heart-health awareness lecture, giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about looking after their cardiovascular health.

The session will also include complimentary heart assessments carried out by cardio nurses.

The invitation does not specify the exact tests included in the assessment, so anyone attending who wants more detail should confirm directly with RAKEZ or the Medical Fitness Centre beforehand. The event is being hosted at the RAKEZ Medical Fitness Centre in Ras Al Khaimah.

Why Heart Awareness Matters

Heart health is something people often associate with later life, but maintaining healthy habits is relevant at every age. Long working hours, limited physical activity, stress and busy routines can all make it harder to prioritise regular health checks and everyday wellbeing. That is why awareness events can be useful.

They give people a reason to stop thinking of health as something to deal with “later” and instead dedicate a little time to understanding their current wellbeing. Even a short health-awareness session can encourage people to ask better questions about their habits and speak with qualified healthcare professionals when necessary.

Health Checks Should Be Part of a Busy UAE Lifestyle

Life in the UAE can move quickly. For many professionals and business owners, calendars are filled with meetings, commuting, family responsibilities and everyday tasks. It is easy to tell yourself that there simply is not enough time.

But health is one of the things that should not consistently be moved to the bottom of the list.

Making time for an awareness session, medical appointment, exercise or even a regular walk may require consciously protecting space in your schedule. Sometimes that means deciding which responsibilities truly need your personal attention.

Focus on Your Health — Let Someone Else Handle the Task

That is also where platforms such as Taysir can help with everyday life. If your free time is being consumed by cleaning, deliveries, moving, furniture assembly, handyman work or another practical job, you can post the task and explore offers from local taskers. The idea is not to outsource everything.

It is to recognise that some tasks can be handled by someone else, while things such as your health, family and wellbeing need your own attention. You can post a task on Taysir, explore available services, or download the Taysir app.

Event Details

The RAKEZ heart-health awareness session will take place on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the RAKEZ Medical Fitness Centre, Ras Al Khaimah. The invitation is addressed to RAKEZ clients, so anyone interested in attending should confirm eligibility and any registration requirements directly with RAKEZ. Heart health should not become important only when something feels wrong.

Sometimes the best reason to make time for it is simply because you can.

Focus on your health. Let the smaller tasks wait — or let someone else handle them.
